About Institution

This school was established in early 1975. It is known as Sekolah Menengah Vokasional (SRT) Setapak, Kuala Lumpur. Started operations in early 1975 and a total of 15 teachers including principals were placed in the Technical and Vocational Division at the Straits Trading Building, Kuala Lumpur. In the early stages, students who are accepted into this school follow the learning by post. In 1993 another course was offered, namely the Child Care Course and in 2004, Computer Programming was offered. The teaching staff increased from time to time, until 2011 a total of 72 teachers. In 2010, the school was renamed SMV ERT Setapak in line with the abolition of technical stream courses in this school. Skills flow courses were introduced to replace the technical courses.
In 2011, students were required to wear a new vocational school uniform, an orange shirt and black pants.
