Institute Kemahiran MARA Tan Sri Yahaya Ahmad is a MARA skills institution started operating in October 1976. It is known as the Institue Kemahiran MARA Pekan (IKM Pekan), then changed its name to MARA Tan Sri Yahaya Ahmad Skills Institute (IKM TSYA) on 15 July 1997. The initial courses conducted are based on Manufacturing, Mapping & Forming Wood, Drying and Preserving Wood as well as Saw Maintenance. Receive contributions from the New Zealand government such as buildings, equipment and expertise.
