The Minister of Higher Education, Datuk Seri Idris Jusoh, completed the opening ceremony of the Gelang Patah Branch Community College in Taman Nusabayu on 26 April.The establishment of the Gelang Patah Branch Community College is a "gift" of the Ministry of Higher Education to the Gelang Patah Parliamentary Community Community which is looking forward to the existence of a public higher education institution for high school graduates.
In his speech, Idris stated that the standard of education in Malaysia is increasing and in line with Malaysia's circulation leading to industry 4.0.He added that the sophistication of modern technology requires every individual to learn new knowledge, in addition to having quality skills.The inauguration of the Gelang Patah Branch Community College has officially increased the number of educational institutions in the State of Johor to 13 by offering the Information Technology Certificate program.
