MARA Skills Institute, BESERI Perlis was established in 1993. It is built on a plot of land of 45 acres and is located 15km from the city of Kangar. The first recruitment of 77 trainees was made in the July-December 1993 session, involving trainees from Electronics, Electrical, Marine, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning and Welding & Fabrication. Starting in 2001, 2 more courses were conducted, namely Mechatronics and Automobile courses. The courses offered here are at the technology certificate level.
