About Institution
The International Islamic College of Technology (KITAB) Penang is a Private Institution of Higher Learning under the supervision of Syarikat Usaha Tarbiah (Penang) Sdn. Bhd. (UTSB). That is a company wholly owned by the Penang State Islamic Religious Council (MAINPP).
KITAB was established on 12 May 2004 after obtaining approval from the Department of Private Education, Ministry of Education Malaysia (JPS) 5195 / IPTS / 1301 (07).
The body involved in managing and managing KITAB consists of the Board of Directors of Usaha Tarbiah (Penang) Sdn. Bhd. (UTSB) and the Board of Governors of KITAB.
BOOK is the only institution of higher learning that combines Islam Penang Islamic education with technology disciplines, using English, Arabic and English as the main medium.
KITAB plays a role in creating integrated education covering intellectual, spiritual and physical to produce people who are balanced, harmonious and virtuous to meet the needs of the workforce in building the generation of the people and the development of the country.
