Segamat Community College 2 (KKSEG2) has been in operation since March 1, 2003 providing skills related courses.
Segamat Community College is a government educational institution under the Community College Management Division, Ministry of Higher Education Malaysia.
At the beginning of the establishment, the college was operating at SMK Seri Jementah pending the completion of the building. The first student recruitment by Segamat Community College 2 was held on June 17, 2003 involving two courses, the Architectural Designer Certificate and the Creative Multimedia Certificate (Animation). Students taking part in the July 2004 session also offered Architectural Plan and Information Technology Certificate.
In addition to full-time courses, Segamat Community College 2 also offers a variety of short course programs open to all levels of the local community to enhance the skills and workmanship of these short course participants.
