About Institution
Tanjung Piai Community College is one of the Public Institutions of Higher Learning under the Ministry of Higher Education and was established during the 9th Malaysia Plan. Started its operations on 1 January 2008 at the Pontian Trade Center location by taking a short course and began accepting its first full-time students in July 2008.
The college has an area of ??1500 mps (for 3 lots of 3 storey shops) which is a rental building. Located on the coast, this college provides a conducive environment and is suitable for the teaching and learning process. At the beginning of its establishment, this college was a branch college from Pasir Gudang Community College but gained the status of Responsibility Center (PTJ) in October 2012.
