About Institution
Over the past few decades, the State of Perlis has tried to become a leading Education Hub with its main motto "Perlis State of Knowledge". Among other things, it aims to attract students as well as be a catalyst for economic development and improve the social community.
To realize these aspirations, the Council of Islamic Religion and Malay Custom Perlis (MAIPs) under the auspices of His Royal Highness the Raja Muda of Perlis, Tuanku Syed Faizuddin Putra Ibni Syed Sirajuddin Jamalullail has established Kolej Universiti Islam Perlis (KUIPs) whose establishment was approved by the Ministry of Education Malaysia as a Private Higher Education Institution.
