About Institution

Sekolah Menengah Teknik Kemaman or its short name SMT Kemaman , is a Technical Secondary School located at Km 6, Jalan Ayer Puteh, Binjai,, Kemaman, Malaysia. In 2009, Sekolah Menengah Teknik Kemaman had 291 male students and 93 female students, bringing the total number of students to 384. It has a total of 95 teachers.

SMVK changed its name to SMTK on 01/12/1995. On 01/01/1996. SMT Kemaman pioneers consisted of 240 engineering students. In 2009, SMTK was changed back to SMVK. Starting on 01/01/2010, all Vocational Secondary Schools (SMV) have been upgraded to strengthen vocational flow, Ministry of Education Malaysia. In 2011, SMVK had two streams of study consisting of vocational streams (MPAV) and skills streams (SKM) The first intake of Kemaman Vocational College (KVK) for the Malaysian Vocational Diploma Program (DVM) in 2013 by offering 9 courses for PMR graduates. In 2014, KVK will be a full-fledged Kemaman Vocational College.
