About Institution
METrO Kuantan Polytechnic (PMKU) started operations on April 1, 2011 at its campus located in the heart of the center
commercial Kuantan City. This institution is one of the public institutions of higher learning that offers studies in the field
services, in accordance with the needs and demands of the current industry.PMKU is the second (2) METrO Polytechnic established in line with the national transformation agenda, which is to increase power competitive through high-income economic development especially in terms of generating versatile human capital
and able to change in a dynamic job market environment.All METrO Polytechnics only offer two full-time study programs. PMKU offers 2 programs
studies namely Diploma in Food Services Halal Practice and Diploma in Tourism Management. In addition, PMKU
will also offer subscribed courses and short courses under the Lifelong Learning Program (PSH)
based on the needs of the local community.
