Politeknik METrO Tasek Gelugor

METrO Tasek Gelugor Polytechnic (PMTG) was established on the 8th. October 2012, has started operations at a new premises, namely Tasek Gelugor Commercial Center, Tasek Gelugor, Penang on a historic date for PMTG residents and Malaysian Polytechnic on the 23rd. November 2015 after almost 3 years of operation at Seberang Perai Polytechnic, Jalan Permatang Pauh, Penang. PMTG is one of the 5 METrO Polytechnics established in line with the country's transformation agenda, which is to increase competitiveness through the development of high-income economies, especially in terms of generating versatile and able to change human capital in a dynamic work market environment. All METrO Polytechnics only offer two full-time study programs. PMTG offers Diploma in Information Technology and Diploma in Video and Film Studies programs. In addition, PMTG will also offer subscription courses and short courses under the Lifelong Learning Program (PSH) based on the needs of the local community.
