Politeknik Hulu Terengganu

Hulu Terengganu Polytechnic or in short PHT is one of the polytechnics under the Ministry of Higher Education started operations on 2 May 2008 at Sultan Mizan Polytechnic Zainal Abidin, Dungun by offering 2 main programs namely Diploma in Accounting and Diploma in Tourism and Hospitality Management. In June 2010, PHT transferred operations to Hulu Terengganu District by renting one of the buildings owned by the Hulu Terengganu District Council in Kuala Berang City.
To date, PHT has almost 400 students with a staff strength of 60 people consisting of various qualifications led by En. Ab Razak B. Sadli as director of PHT. Among the main departments available at PHT are the Department of Commerce, Department of Tourism & Hospitality, Department of Mathematics, Science & Computer and Department of General Studies.
