About Institution
Ungku Omar Polytechnic is a Malaysian polytechnic situated on Jalan Dairy, Ipoh which was named after the late Dr. Ungku Omar bin Ungku Ahmad. It was established by the Malaysian Ministry of Education with help from UNESCO in 1969. It also received RM24.5 million funding from the United Nations Development Programme.
